HANBAT PARK

Hanbat is a park in Expo. It is the highest place in Expo. I experienced my happiest day I have ever had since I first came here.
First, we found a place to eat in the park. We sat on grass to enjoy Chinese and Vietnamese foods. Some Chinese foods I couldn't eat so I ate chicken most. We talked a lot and told joke. Many people walking around the park looked at us, which made me so shy. I didn't sit on the grass eating with my friends before when I was in Vietnam. It was a really great experience to me.After that, we went around the park to take pictures and to enjoyed many beautiful views. It was so cold that night, but I still feel warm inside because I had friends to talk to and to hang-out

When we came across this place, we decided to play a game. Anyone who lost would run over the water. The poor guy in the middle in this picture had to run over the water twice. It was really cold and he was so wet. However, we had fun that night and I hope that everyone will keep such great memory in his heart.

GEUMSAN

Geumsan is very far from Daejeon. If we take a bus, it may take us 45 minutes to get there. I'm not sure if there is subway line to go there or not. Geumsan is really famous in ginseng. People grow ginseng and sell it as ginseng is major source of incomes. Most people who grow ginseng often sell ginseng in Geumsan market.

I was really surprised at the first time I went there. The market provided a variety of ginseng as well as hongsam and youngchi. I saw many strange kinds of ginseng also. We could hardly find them outsides Geumsan market. Most of ginsengs there were about more than 8 years old, so they were rare, healthy but very expensive. However, prices in Geumsan market were relatively cheaper than other places do.

The market also provided other cheap products. Prices of these products were about half of normal prices. I really enjoyed my weekend with my friends. I bought a lot of youngchi to send to my mother.

O WORLD

O world is the largest zoo land in Daejeon. From Solbridge we can take a bus to go to there. It may take us about 30 minutes to get there. Besides, we can go by subway. However, I haven't tried and I don't have enough information about that.

In O world, we really enjoyed our weekends. First, we could see many attractions. We took many pictures so that we could save our memories. There was also amusement area in O world. We really wanted to take some games, especially breathtaking ones. However, we couldn't do so because we didn't want to pay money. >"<

Of course, we go to the zoo to observe animal activities. In O world, they also operated mini bus so that visitors could go around the zoo faster. However, we wanted to walk because we could take closer look at animal activities and we could stop at anywhere we wanted to.
When I saw the bear I was really happy. I love bear. I especially want to hug a bear even one time in my life. When I went to bear's area, only the bear in this picture was actively playing with its ball.

However, this scence really touched me. The monkey's child couldn't open its eyes because of some problems I thought. The monkey mother was tightly holding her child and trying to open her child's eyes. She looked sorrow. When she noticed that we were looking at her child, she tried to hide her child to protect it. Even animal has emotion and family relationship.

I also like goat. In my opinion, goat is pretty. However, it is quite greedy.

Snow&Barbeque

Not the first time seeing snow in Daejeon, but the background was the thing touched people. Around my dormitory, there are not quite a lot of people so just a light snowfall on the dark road made things more and more mysterious. The temperature itself was not very cold but the whole scene can freeze anyone's mind.

In this weather, doubtlessly barbecue is the best choice for a brotherhood's meeting. I don't remember exactly how to spell the name of the dish in Korean but only by smelling, I can recognize it from miles away.

The dish itself is really simple, just grilled pork, if you want to imagine more easily. But in addition to that, we roll the pork with vegetables, garlic(guys' weapon), kimchi and very spicy chilly if you want. The taste of Korean barbecue is not quite outstanding but the perfect combination of the atmosphere and the weather makes it the very first option for all the friendly meetings.

Let's imagine. You got in the restaurant, welcomed by a spell of delicious smell, the warmth of fire from the cooker, and greetings from friends, what kind of weather can make you feel cold? Sit down, palaver about no-ending-nor-beginning stories while waiting for the meat done, drink a small cup of soju or any other kinds of alcohol, what can you expect more from a weekend evening?

Normally, we often have that kind of barbecue meeting at a restaurant near SolBridge. The price is reasonable and the managers are really nice(what a big pity that now they don't have good-looking waitresses anymore). For 3 guys, not including alcohol, you only have to pay 5000W each to have an almost perfect evening with friends.

Snowy weather, surprisingly, was not an obstacle for us to go to see one another, but was an incentive to put us around the cooker, enjoy the rare relaxing weekend after 6 days full of work.

Transportation in Daejeon

This week-end I had the chance to travel to another city which is Po hang. I used Bus from Daejeon to go there.

At first I didn't expect that the bus will be good because it was the first time, but after I used it, I was surprised because it was so comfortable even if it's takes 3 hours.

Convenient price, good organization and service, that's what I realize from my trip about Transportation in Daejeon and especially BUS.

It was a good experience for me and also I learned a lot about how to use Bus from Daejeon.

ONE DAY IN E-MART

E-mart is a supermarket in Daejeon. In there, we can find cheap products for our lives and studying. Since the winter is coming, I went last night to E-mart often to look for sale products to prepare for the cold winter.

First I intended to buy winter clothes. I wanted to buy 2 coats, hats and so on. However, the winter clothes in this time is so expensive. Therefore, I changed my mind. I only bought foods to store during the winter.

Though I couldn't satisfy my intention, I experienced good time in E-mart. I saw a lot of funny stuff in E-mart and took pictures with it.

Korean culture program in Daejeon

As a regular student in Korea "Daejeon" at Solbridge Iternational School Of business, I realize that I should learn about korean culture to adapt myself easily.

So I decide to join this program which is organized by Solbridge.

Clothes, Food and musical instrument were some of the activities that we did during 1 month.

During this program I enjoy myself a lot and it was a nice experience; because i knew how korean dress, make food and use their musical instrument.

I'm sure that the korean culture center in Daejeon is ready to receive people who want to learn about korean culture.

Tumples in Daejeon

After one week when I just came to Korea and exactly TAEJON, I was surprised about the Korean temples .

So I decide to go and visit one of them with some friend from different countries.

Actually it was a good experience to discover the manner and the way which other people from other religious behave.
